In Memory of DONALD W. PITTS (DONNY)

  1. In Memory of DONALD W. PITTS (DONNY)
January in Camano Island, Washington (2 photos)
    "DONNY"
    DONALD W. PITTS
    age 57 yrs.
Passed away while I held him in my arms.
I promised him I would not let him pass away alone. I was not about to sit across the room & watch him die. I held him while he passed away & continued to hold him for 5 hrs. until funeral home picked-up his body
    leaved my home.
    MAY HE REST IN PEACE.
That was his last wishes to pass away at Home & die in PEACE.
He suffer no more as he returned to our Father in Heaven & his Son Jesus Christ.
He is not a religious man but Spiritual at the end of fighting Multaple Melanoma Cancer.
He put up a good fight having 2 Surgeries. Going through Radiation to find it had only spread more & into his Lungs. He literally had Cancer inside & Outside his body. Black Cancer spots all over 100 on his body. He was in great pain inside & outside his body,
The sad thing is it didn't have to be this way.
If you knew DON you could not make Don do what Don did not want to do. 5yrs. ago I told him he may have Cancer to get it checked. the mole-birth mark was growing & changing. He could not see it. Being a Heavy Equipment Operator & Supervisor in the Sun & outside all day did not help. I continued to bug him.
I wish I had been more knowledge about Melanoma. I did not know it could KILL you!
So I would stop bugging him about it. He miss lead me & told me JoeDon (his son)
took him on the lunch break to the DR. & had it checked. Not true. His Cancer spread from his ear to his brain down his neck into his Lungs. He even did 1x round of Chemo therapy on
    Dec. 5 2012
I wish I had more time with Donny here on Earth but I know this is not the End just a new phase in our adventure. He said he would save me a place in HEAVEN.
I can just imagine him making plans & being demanding.
He is also survived by his Son's
    JoeDon & Jesse.
He truly will be missed by all.
His wishes are to have only those whom he was close to & to those he loved. To be cremated per his wishes & will bury his ashes next to his Bro. Billy in Floral Hills this summer 2013 when all Family member's & close friend's.
    I miss him everyday. RIP
